I have an extensive background in residential and commercial construction. I have owned a successful residential remodeling company for 24 years. I have worked hundreds of projects in many homes and built numerous churches, schools, shopping centers, etc in Houston and the surrounding areas for 40 + years. I have always been a detail oriented person and this approach has conditioned me for making a thorough home inspection for you. 19 of those 40+ years were in the commercial construction field as a superintendent and project manager and I spent a lot of time on detailed reports and analysis, along with recommendations. This, along with the continuing education for the Professional Inspector’s license and the certifications through InterNACHI have added to the many facets necessary to be well informed in most phases of construction. It also allows me the opportunity to utilize these years of experience and use those insights to make informed assessments and recommendations to share with you about your potential home investment.


I am a Texas Real Estate Commission Licensed Professional Inspector and my philosophy is simple: I only inspect one or two homes a day to make sure that I have the required time for a complete detailed inspection, which includes taking as many photographs as necessary, and to be available to answer your questions. Following my tour of duty in the military I was a residential framer and finish carpenter. Since that time I’ve spent over 40+ years in the construction industry, both residential and commercial, as superintendent, project manager, and a residential remodeling company business owner for the last 24 years.

Through the Greater Houston Builders Association I attained the certifications: Certified Graduate Remodeler, Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist, and Graduate Master Builder. Completed the 394 hour Professional Inspectors License program through Champions School of Real Estate . Successfully passed the National exam and the Texas Real Estate Commission Professional Inspector exam. Received Professional Inspectors license (#22331) through the Texas Real Estate Commission.

Member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (#17050121) hereafter referred to as InterNACHI. Successfully passed main entrance exam and received certifications of: Certified Professional Inspector and Roof Inspector. Currently pursuing the Home Energy Auditor certification.

InterNACHI requires 25 hours of mandatory continuing education every year and members are required to retake the main entrance exam every three years. The Texas Real Estate Commission requires 32 hours of continuing mandatory education every two years as well as proof of insurance and financial stability.
